When states implement anti-abortion laws, those with the fewest resources suffer the most.

Lower-income folks can’t afford to travel to other states to seek out care and often can’t take off work. If they’re forced to proceed with an unplanned pregnancy, they’ll have to deal with the even greater costs of raising a child.

Connecticut is a safe harbor state that provides abortion services to all of our residents and any others in need. That’s something we must protect.
