On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that we have selected Nevada Littlewolf to be Women Winning’s next Executive Director. After a thorough and thoughtful search and with the help of kpCompanies, a Minnesota based, Black woman owned search firm, we are thrilled for Nevada to bring her political and multi-sector leadership to Women Winning.

With over 25 years of experience, Nevada has held leadership roles in foundations, government, nonprofits, and campaigns. Nevada has transitioned a number of community foundations through important and vital changes as both a board member and as President/CEO. She is President and Co-founder of Seven Teachings, a small business that focuses on racial justice, food sovereignty, and systems change. Nevada is a citizen of Leech Lake Nation and has spent her life working with women, communities of color, and Indigenous people building power.

Nevada is a former elected official serving on the Virginia, MN, City Council from 2008-2018.

She has served as Women Winning’s Political Director, and in 2020, she led the Biden/Harris campaign to victory in Minnesota as the state’s Political Director. Currently, Nevada serves as Executive Director of Our Children and the Campaign Manager of the Page Amendment.

We look forward to you being able to meet Nevada soon, as she will start in early November. In the meantime, Women Winning is working across the state to support all of our endorsed candidates and elect leaders who will protect access to reproductive rights. Our immediate focus is voter outreach, fundraising, and supporting our amazing candidates.

For 40 years, Women Winning has been building a movement of more than 19,000 inspired people united in our work to recruit, train, and elect pro-choice women to all levels of public office, from park board to President of the United States. Thank you for your partnership in this work, electing pro-choice women leaders who will protect reproductive rights and change the face of power.
