Dear John,

Last week, we launched an investigation exposing terrible suffering at a U.S. pig farm

. The footage included mother pigs rubbed bloody from cage bars and screaming as sick, injured, or runt piglets were slammed headfirst into concrete and killed nearby.

These sensitive creatures are tormented, neglected, and denied all that is natural to them.

In 2018, Californians overwhelmingly voted into law a ballot initiative that prohibited the in-state production or sale of pork from pigs confined in a cruel manner.

Now, the meat industry is seeking to silence these voters by challenging the law before the Supreme Court of the United States.

In one hour, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in this case. Will you tune in on the Supreme Court website?

As advocates, we have powerful voices. Thank you for making yours heard, John.

Gratefully,

P.S. If you aren't able to watch the oral arguments live, you can watch a recording
