The work you do with MoveOn and in your communities generates ripple
effects way bigger than we sometimes realize. Staying civically
engaged—through volunteering, organizing, and voting—despite clear and
diabolical efforts at disenfranchisement, ensures the protection of our
democracy.

off a virtual phone bank. Will you join me by volunteering at the phone
bank on Wednesday, October 12 at 6 p.m. ET? You can sign up for
Wednesday's phone bank or any other phone bank before Election Day.

From all across the country, MoveOn members have united to organize and
take action. Together, our tens of thousands of phone calls and text
messages and our thousands of letters and virtual lobby visits helped make
historic waves—from the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act to gun
violence reform, student debt relief, and a series of other impressive
achievements that have real impact on our daily lives. 

Our work is more important now than ever. This November, reproductive
freedom, health care, gun reform, voting rights, and democracy are on the
ballot. We are facing right-wing Trump Republicans who are set on
destabilizing our democracy and taking away our rights. We must vote and
make sure everyone we know does as well.

and districts across the country who could make the difference in

We are all here because we know that one of the most important ways to
take action is by organizing together to turn out voters—most importantly,
mobilizing our friends, family, and community members to vote. This is the
only way to ensure that the vote is representative of the people and that
decisions made are reflective of the people’s voice. 

That’s why this year, MoveOn members are mobilizing to run the largest
midterm relational voter contact campaign in this country! We’ll maintain
and expand our majority this November by getting voters at the polls to
remind three people closest to them to vote. Your personal outreach is the
most motivating tactic proven to multiply our power. Not only has research
proven this to be five times more effective than direct voter outreach,
but this approach helped to defeat Trump in 2020. 

If this tactic worked in 2020, it can definitely help defeat Trump's
