Jack, the same people who attempted to violently overturn the 2020 election are continuing work to sabotage our elections: They have changed state laws, threatened state officials, and packed election administration offices so that they can have the final say over election results.

It gets worse. Election deniers are on the November ballot in half (50 percent) of the races for governor, as well as more than one-third of races for secretary of state (44 percent) and attorney general (33 percent). In three states–Alabama, Arizona, and Michigan–election deniers are running for all three top statewide positions.

Without accountability, MAGA militants will continue to undermine our freedoms and our democracy on every level. They must be held accountable.

Pro-democracy champions are gathering at in-person and virtual events across the country to highlight the local impacts of the hearing revelations and fight ongoing threats to our freedoms and our vote, including right-wing efforts to pass anti-democracy legislation in state houses, run election denier candidates for office, and intimidate election officials.

With the election just weeks away, it's more important than ever to ensure voters know who is on the ballot and how they plan to use power to overturn the will of voters, especially since a majority of all Republican nominees on the ballot have denied or questioned the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

It's time for accountability. Together, we can stop the ongoing efforts to sabotage our elections and move closer to the promise of democracy for all of us–no matter our color, zip code, or income–so we all have an equal say in the decisions that shape our daily lives and futures.
