| John, Last week, my campaign sent you an email to let you know that my race is tightening up as we barrel toward Election Day. It was my hope that the news about Politico moving my race from “likely Democrat” to “lean Democrat” would get all of you excited. The response was lukewarm, to say the least. Just 10 supporters donated to my campaign all day last Thursday. With just 29 days until Election Day, that is how we lose this race – and the House majority. John, my opponent and her allies are spending more than $500,000 to attack me and slander my good name to the voters I’m asking to support me. With our race TIED this close to ballots going in the mail, we cannot afford to lose your support now. Today, we need to double what we raised off last week’s email. That means before midnight tonight we need to see $2,418 in donations come through. Are you able to chip in a couple of dollars to help me out right now?
We just assumed that fundraising would pick up this month, and they have not. Unless we turn things around quickly, we’re going to be facing budget cuts in the final days of this race – which no one wants. Respectfully,  Alek Skarlatos Republican for Congress
