This week, I'm taking a risk.

Instead of spending the days leading up to our most important fundraising deadline raising money, I'm hitting the road for the next five days to hear directly from our communities.

Between now and December 30, my team and I are visiting 28 cities, towns and colonias, and we're knocking 1,000 doors.

Our campaign believes we must put the people of our district first. So for the next five days, I'll be meeting folks across our district to learn about their most important issues.

That means I'm really counting on grassroots supporters like you. December 31 is our last FEC deadline before the primary. But instead of spending our final week reaching out to donors, we're prioritizing face-to-face conversations with voters in TX-28. We're calling this listening tour "¡Los Escucho!"

To be honest, we're taking a risk here. But we made this decision because I believe in you and the rest of our grassroots movement. I'm trusting that with your support, we can raise what we need to hit our goal before the deadline.
