John – We need all hands on deck right now.
The DCCC and House Majority PAC are quietly withdrawing their advertising support for BNC’s Michelle Vallejo, the Democratic nominee for the open seat in TX-15.
This is one of the most competitive elections this cycle, and Michelle is poised to win. Yet, there is a real risk this seat will go to a dangerous, pro-MAGA, radical Republican instead.
The DCCC may have abandoned Michelle, but we still have her back. Can you rush a split contribution between Michelle’s bold, progressive campaign and Brand New Congress now? [[link removed]]

Here is what Michelle had to say about this development:
“My race has always been about South Texas fighting for South Texas & that's exactly what we will continue to do. My faith is in the power of the people. We are strong, we are mighty and we will prevail. Our support is surging & with this energy behind us we can win BIG.”
Michelle Vallejo (TX-15)
Sadly, I am not surprised to see this move from the DCCC. As a Texan and former congressional candidate myself, I know firsthand how little the political establishment invests in Black and Brown communities in states like ours.
Brand New Congress believes this South Texas community is worth the fight. That is why we proudly backed Michelle’s campaign and why we stand firm with her today.
There are huge implications in the national Democratic Party giving up on this community, which stretches from the outskirts of San Antonio, through McAllen and down to the Mexico border. In Texas, we are not only trying to elect bold progressives to Congress, we are working diligently to defeat Greg Abbott and the failed policies of the Republicans. By pulling their advertising support now, the DCCC is surrendering this district to the far right.
This move will hurt Texas, and it will hurt working people across America, by allowing Greg Abbott, Donald Trump, and all their radical right-wing allies and enablers to gain another foothold at a critical time in our state’s history.
John, this kind of thinking by the DCCC is why we lose so many races that could be won. It is a barrier to progress for hard-working families, and we will not sit quietly without a fight.
I’m asking you today to dig deep and help us elect Michelle Vallejo to represent TX-15 with a split contribution of $25, $50, or any amount right now. [[link removed]]
Michelle is fighting for Medicare for All, raising the minimum wage to $15, fixing our crumbling infrastructure, transitioning to energy-efficient systems, establishing free public college and trade school, and creating a welcoming environment at the border.
We believe Michelle Vallejo is the representative needed in TX-15, and we ask you to join us in standing with Michelle.
In Solidarity,
Adrienne Bell
Executive Director

Since 2016 BNC has led the way in advancing popular policies like Medicare for All and the Green New Deal and electing bold progressive fighters. We recruited and elected AOC in 2018 and Cori Bush in 2020. With seven BNC Reps currently in office [[link removed]] , we are growing progressive power in Congress.
This November we’re working to flip multiple red seats, fill open seats with bold progressives, and elect our first BNC Senator by defeating Rand Paul.
Pitch in today and join us as we take over Congress and return power to the people.
