Hi there, John. I wanted to take a moment and reach out to you personally today.
The election is just a few short weeks away, and we have a major fight ahead of us.
National forecasters are calling NY-19 one of the most competitive races in America, and grassroots supporters like you may determine which party controls Congress.
That’s what makes the resources we raise so critical. Now, my Republican opponent is the definition of a professional politician bought and paid for by special interests (I’ll explain more below), but we aren’t taking a penny of special interest corporate PAC money. It might make fundraising more difficult, but it’s the right thing to do.
Grassroots support powers our campaign — so will you please rush a donation of $5 or more ahead of Election Day to help power us to victory?

My extremist Republican opponent, Marc Molinaro, is far too dangerous to send to Congress. And he’s shown that he’s just in it for himself, not for the people of Upstate New York he’s running to represent. Here are just a few examples:
- First of all, he’s running for a district he hasn’t lived in for a day of his life, just because it’s a couple of points more friendly to a Republican than the district he lives in and currently represents.
- As County Executive, he used taxpayer dollars to lease himself an $80,000/year luxury SUV.
- He tried to use pandemic relief money to build luxury box seats at a sports stadium only affordable for the top 1%.
- He handed out nearly $90 million in government contracts to campaign donors, even when they weren’t the most competitive bidders on projects.
John, we can’t afford someone as corrupt and self-serving as professional politician Marc Molinaro representing NY-19 in Congress.
I’m running for change, to do things differently, and that’s why I’m rejecting special interest corporate PAC money, and instead relying on hard-working folks like you to fuel this campaign. As I said, our district is ultra-competitive, and the resources we raise could determine control of the House.
So if it’s within your budget, I hope you’ll pitch in $5 or more today to help us close out this campaign strong. I’d be incredibly grateful.
