Team — I hope your holiday was absolutely wonderful. Whatever your tradition, I hope you’ve been taking time to celebrate with the people that matter most.

I love this time of year. But one thing I don’t love is that donations tend to drop around the holidays — right as we’re approaching our FEC deadline.

I can’t stress this enough, team: This is not an arbitrary deadline.

At the beginning of the year, our numbers will go public. If we fall short, it will be clear to Trump, McCarthy, and the national media that we don’t have what it takes to protect our House majority in 2020. I can see the ill-conceived articles about how holding Trump accountable is backfiring on our majority already being written.
