Friend, my name is Adam Laxalt. You may have never heard of me, so I wanted to take a moment to tell you a bit about why I’m running for U.S. Senate in Nevada.
I was born in Reno, Nevada and raised by a single mother. Growing up, it was just me and my mom. I have always aspired to be as much of a leader as she was.

I know that real leadership means standing up for what you believe in and standing up for people everywhere. But I was headed down the wrong path in life.
As a teenager, I suffered from addiction. But the people who loved me got me help. I turned my life around, and that taught me helping others gives life meaning. That’s why I volunteered to serve in the Navy after 9/11 and volunteered to serve in the Iraq War.

Serving our country as a Navy Officer in Iraq was an honor.
While I was serving, my unit was in charge of over 20,000 detainees to keep American troops safe. This was one of the most challenging experiences of my life, but also the most rewarding.
Knowing that I was on the front lines of protecting the country I love so dearly is something that I will continue to cherish for the rest of my life.

After returning from Iraq, I felt the call to serve my state again and went on to be Nevada’s Attorney General and top law enforcement officer. I fought hard to serve the people of Nevada, where I fought against President Obama by suing over federal overreach. I fought for the Constitution.
Now I'm taking on a huge challenge for our country: running for U.S. Senate.

My race is officially the #1 race in the country, and all eyes are on me. The Democrats have already raised 76 MILLION to destroy my campaign.
Unlike my opponent, I rely on grassroots supporters like you to keep my campaign running.
I know I will be great leader for the people of Nevada, and for the people of America.
