November 8 is fast approaching!

John,

I wanted you to be one of the first to see our brand new Care At The Polls guide we put together for the midterms.

Our guide includes everything you need to know about how care will show up at the polls this November – along with sample questions to ask elected leaders and candidates.

Dive into our 2022 Care At The Polls guide here.

The image is a GIF that flips through the care at the polls guide rather quickly.

For the past 12 months, I’ve been fighting to make sure President Biden, Congress, and state governments make meaningful investments in paid leave, child care, and reliable long-term home care for our aging and disabled relatives. While we won some gains in the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), care policies were largely left out.

Now many of us are at a breaking point because of inflation and severe underfunding in care. Black families are currently spending more time and money on caregiving than other caregivers and Black women represent a disproportionate number of the 53 million unpaid caregivers in the US. A real investment in care will get us a more equitable economy and country for all.

This fall, it’s crucial for leaders at all levels to hear just how much we need meaningful change. Now’s the time to share our stories and ask the hard questions.

I hope our Care At The Polls guide will be a resource for you to be heard this election season.

Take good care,
