About the job
Within Buildings & Grounds, the incumbent independently functions as a fully qualified electrician and is a senior specialist to perform skilled construction, installation, maintenance, and repair work on electrical equipment and systems. These include but are not limited to the campus medium voltage distribution system, primary service entry panels, switchgear, interior and exterior wiring; cables, connections for electric machines, switches and controls; fuse boxes, breaker panels, distribution and instrument panels, power circuits, and distribution systems; motors, wiring, equipment, and instruments such as pumps, lighting, and fans.
