WRAL News released a new poll of our race that has Cheri down by just 1 point. Their analysts said this data was more proof that this race was “deadlocked” and a “statistical dead heat.”

This race is on track to come down to the smallest of margins. A small number of votes in North Carolina could decide whether we expand the majority so Cheri can cast the decisive vote for progress on climate change, voting rights, codifying Roe, and more.

So we cannot take anything for granted — especially when this poll shows that 13 percent of likely voters are still undecided. It’s those voters that will swing this race.
