Time and time again, Trump has proven he is willing to let hardworking American people suffer so he can further his own self-interests -- and his reckless trade war is no different.

Trump's tariffs on goods ($250 billion on Chinese goods alone) mean that costs for both businesses and consumers in our state will rise. Manufacturing jobs will be lost, Pennsylvania families won't be able to afford basic home goods like dishwashers, and our country will ultimately contribute to a global economic slowdown.

Already, we've seen retaliation that is affecting American businesses and consumers -- all the while Trump has his back to us, twiddling his thumbs, waging a lose-lose battle to make him feel important and powerful.
