Team, For the last few weeks, a right-wing super PAC has been filling up voters’ mailboxes, and sending thousands of text messages, attacking Brittany in personal, vicious — and false — terms. If you live in the 7th District, you might have seen it for yourself. It turns out, the tactics this group is engaging in are even uglier than they seemed, and they likely broke the law. Colorado Public Radio just reported: “For Colorado's Future, an independent spending committee supporting Colorado congressional candidate Erik Aadland, may have received an illegal donation from a company doing business with the federal government. It has also spent hundreds of thousands of dollars more than it has collected, leaving significant sums of money unaccounted for, according to campaign finance records.” Folks, it’s clear that Aadland’s GOP allies are determined to use every dirty trick imaginable to defeat Brittany — even, it now seems, if it means blatantly violating campaign finance laws. If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Here at campaign HQ, we are already very motivated to defeat Erik Aadland. He opposes the right to choose, he said the 2020 election was rigged, and his positions are dangerously of step with the needs of Colorado families. But these underhanded tactics only make us more resolved: we are going to win this race and elect Brittany Pettersen, so that the people of this district get the honest and effective leadership they deserve. From all of us here at HQ, thank you so much for your support. -Team Brittany Pettersen
