As someone who works with Dr. Annie every day, I am appalled by attacks on her work, which are not only completely untrue, but are based on wild QAnon conspiracies. Pediatricians like Dr. Annie are caring for our most precious gifts, our children. Dr. Annie works tirelessly to support our communities and our families.

Mace’s recent attacks on trans kids are nothing short of disgusting and have already promoted threats of violence against them and the medical community. That is why the American Medical Association and other groups are urging for an investigation into the people making these horrific threats.

These behaviors are literally killing children in our community. Our children deserve to be seen and feel heard. Our children deserve the best!

Dr. Annie Andrews is dedicated to doing the REAL work for the Lowcountry. That’s what I see in the hospital every day and what I’ve seen from her on the campaign trail. She supports families in their darkest moments, seeing far too many cases of gun violence caused by weak politicians who refuse to support common-sense measures to stop it.
