A Government that is Accountable

Government should work for the people, not against them. But instead, the Democrats, have used their one-party rule to push partisan priorities that have had disastrous results on hardworking families and businesses. For example, during COVID, Democratic led extended lockdowns wiped out 20 years of student gains in math and reading. There have been zero House hearings on President Biden's disastrous withdrawal in Afghanistan. And, just recently, the Democrats’ forced through reckless Iegislation that will hire an army of 87,000 IRS agents—to audit middle-class Americans. We need a government that is accountable, not one that targets every day Americans. Raising Concerns About the Biden Administration's Latest Partisan Far-Left Committee

 Last week I raised concerns with the Treasury Department's new far-left advisory committee. President Biden and the Treasury Department should be working to rein in inflation and get our nation back on track. Instead, they are once again ignoring the economic mess they created by focusing on partisan far-left goals. As the Republican leader of the House Financial Services Committee, I am committed to getting answers for the American people on the true purpose of the committee and the appointment of an activist as Vice Chair. Biden nears 100 executive orders estimated to cost taxpayers almost $1.5 trillion

Since taking office, President Biden has issued nearly 100 executive orders, the total of which will cost American taxpayers up to $1.5 trillion. One of the costliest is Biden's student loan debt cancellation, which will force a large majority of Americans with zero student loan debt to take on the debt of just 45 million borrowers, with the majority of those loans held by the wealthiest amongst us. This is unacceptable.

They've designed a corn maze that honors our brave military men and women and features mazes that carve out patriotic images and exhibit the various branches of our armed forces.
