"Let us give thanks for all the good there is in the world, for the many people who dedicate themselves freely, for those who spend their lives in service, to build a more humane and just society."

FAITH MEETS JUSTICE:
News and Voices from the Ignatian Network 2019 Highlights Edition
Fr. Charlie Currie, S.J., a founding board member of the Ignatian Solidarity Network and co-catalyst of the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice, passed away January 4, 2019, at the age of 88.
ISN acquired "Education for Justice," a global digital subscription membership service providing 2,500+ resources for those seeking to study, teach, and share the tradition of Catholic Social Teaching.
As a Catholic Church, our approach [to racism] often seems mired in inadequate theologies. Harmony cannot be at the expense of real reconciliation; justice cannot be born of half-truths; personal conversion is not enough.
When we speak out about such injustice and violence, we take some risk. When we enter such spaces, we know like Jesus that this increases our risk. But Jesus does not back away.
A $750,000 grant from the Catholic Campaign for Human Development will enable ISN to further commitment to the justice and dignity of immigrants.
