This Week in TX-25
Dear Texans,
It was great to be back in Texas after a busy month in Washington to meet with constituents, visit local small businesses, and work on the issues most important to TX-25. Be sure to see highlights from my week below.
Fort Hood's New Commander of the III Corps
It was great to be on Fort Hood to welcome Lt. Gen. Sean Bernabe as the new Commander of the III Corps. I am grateful for the leadership of the 61st Commander, Lt. Gen. White, and look forward to Lt. Gen. Bernabe taking over in serving the Fort Hood community.
Visiting TX-25's Small Businesses
Local small businesses are the backbone to the TX-25 economy and it is always a pleasure to visit our great businesses, like Anson Paint, Dent, Repair in Burleson, Texas and Barefoot Campus Outfitter's Venture 19 in Stephenville, Texas. It is an honor to work on their behalf on the House Small Business Committee and be their voice in Congress.
Comanche Peak Nuclear Plant Tour
Enjoyed visiting the facility in Glen Rose, TX and meeting their employees. It is more important than ever before that America increases our domestic energy production and I was proud to see one of TX-25’s own contributing to our nuclear energy supply and providing critical electricity for Texas families and businesses.
Keynote Speaker at the Cleburne Chamber Hispanic Business Alliance
It was an honor to speak at the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce Hispanic Business Alliance luncheon hosted by Cleburne High School’s Sting Bistro. I provided an update on my work in Washington, D.C. and took questions from constituents.
In God we trust,
Roger Williams
Member of Congress
