Friend -- as the year winds down and attacks on me and our campaign intensify, I want you to know: We are making progress.
Over the last year, my colleagues and I in the U.S. House have passed over 400 bills -- over 275 of which were bipartisan. We are taking action to lower prescription drug prices, reduce gun violence, and reduce the corrupting influence of money in politics.
Sadly, such work makes our district a top target. Already, a GOP opponent has been running negative ads against me, and the Trump campaign is running hundreds of ads and investing heavily in Minnesota's 3rd District. Our opponents aren't waiting for 2020, and neither can we.
I never have and never will take a dime from special interests, PACs, or federal lobbyists. If I did, it would be easy to raise the money that our campaign needs to hit our $35,500 end-of-year goal. But you and I both know that's not how our system should work.
Winning in 2020 will NOT be easy. Dark money groups and the GOP are spending big to see us fail. I'm relying on you to help us prove them wrong. Before our official FEC deadline on December 31, will you chip in to help us win in 2020?

Flipping this seat against the avalanche of dark money we faced last year was one of the most joyful experiences of my life. It was also one of the hardest. And it was only because of supporters like you that we did it.
That's why I remain hopeful for the future. There will surely be challenges, but I know with you by my side, we will overcome them.
We have so much to accomplish in 2020 and beyond. But it can't happen without you. Please join us before our end-of-year deadline!
