In just a few weeks voters will head to the polls to choose their next governor in 36 states – including here in Kansas.

It’s essential that campaigns like mine have all the resources we need to fight back against the misleading attacks against us and reach voters in these final weeks before Election Day.

Derek Schmidt, my extreme opponent, wants to take us back to the days when extreme political ideologies won over basic common sense. He wants to take us back to the days of budget deficits when some schools were so poorly funded that they were forced to go to 4-day school weeks. It was devastating for Kansas – and I’ve worked hard every single day to turn our state around and make progress for everyday people.
