Team, we need to talk.

I wanted to pass along an inside look from our fundraising staff on where we are on our weekly voter outreach fundraising efforts:

Here’s the bottom line: we need to aim bigger this week to stand a chance in this race. That’s why our team set an even more ambitious goal of $50k.

See, the first phase of our GOTV strategy was to raise enough funds to gather every tool and get our teams in the streets knocking doors in the 3 biggest cities across the state: New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport. Our next phase is to keep it all running smoothly and expand our efforts.

Our $50,000 goal will ensure we can make every door knock, hold every rally, keep every digital and TV ad live, and send every text message we have planned ahead of November.

Luke is counting on all of us to help him defeat Senator John Kennedy, folks.

The last thing we need is to miss this fundraising goal and let Kennedy win. There’s just too much on the line to quit now. So I’ll ask again: Can we count on you to chip in before our next weekly deadline to turbocharge our campaign to victory?
