2 million barrels

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and allied producers announced a two million barrels per day production cut and an extension of the cooperation agreement between the core OPEC countries, Russia, and other producers through 2023.

26 percent

CSIS surveyed 500+ Taiwanese businesses with operations in Mainland China. 26 percent stated they have already moved at least some of their production or sourcing out of the mainland while another 33 percent are considering doing so.

2 missiles

Between 6:01 a.m. and 6:23 a.m. on October 6, 2022, North Korea fired two short-range ballistic missiles into the sea between Korea and Japan. This is the sixth North Korean missile event in the last 12 days.

7,536,433 refugees

As of September 30, 2022, 7,536,433 Ukrainian refugees have been registered outside of Ukraine. Poland and Germany have received the most refugees—over one million each.
