“Abbott campaign edits Beto O'Rourke audio for attack ad”
Greg Abbott is twisting Beto’s words to mislead Texas voters and distract
from his own failures, extremism, and cruelty. And his audience is large —
Abbott has spent $8 million on ads attacking us and he’s already booked
another $15 million in ads.
Abbott is attacking Beto because his own popularity is plummeting. More
than half of Texans believe the state is on the wrong track under his
failed leadership. He also signed into law the most extreme abortion ban
in the country, and Texans overwhelmingly disagree with his ban that makes
zero exception for rape or incest.
Our campaign has momentum, and we are going to work overtime every single
day between today and November 8th in order to win on Election Day and
defeat Greg Abbott.
