Hi ,
Joe Banish of The Grand Forks Herald said, "Despite the event’s focus on reproductive rights, Christiansen is far from a single-issue candidate" in his coverage of the Reproductive Rights Rally in Grand Forks yesterday. He's right.
As I campaign across the state, I’ve witnessed how access to mental health professionals is extremely sparse in rural North Dakota. Of the state’s 53 counties, 24 do not have a single accredited mental health professional, and nine of them only have one provider. Rising teacher and nursing shortages are impacting services especially in rural areas and children in our rural school systems are lacking services to help them thrive.
But on Monday night, my opponent was a no show for the senatorial debate on BEK TV North Dakota. Maybe because he didn't want to admit that he's failing the people of North Dakota.
That’s why I’m running to replace him, North Dakotans need someone who will show up for them.
