During what was likely their last debate before election day, Kansas
Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly refused to clarify her stance on several key
issues against Republican nominee Derek Schmidt. Specifically, Gov.
Kelly avoided answering important questions concerning her stance on
abortion, biologically male athletes playing girls' sports, and
whether or not Kansas should follow in California's footsteps by
banning the sale of gas-powered vehicles.

DeSantis holds double-digit lead over Crist in Florida governor's

Gov. Hogan: Is College Worth It? Not for Everyone

In an opinion piece, Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan writes that an expensive
college degree from a prestigious university is far from the only way to
achieve the American dream, especially now that the American people are
footing the bill through President Biden's student loan forgiveness
plan. Gov. Hogan: "...A good education doesn't necessarily require a
four-year degree, especially when such excessive credentialism falls on
the taxpayer's dime."

Gov. Ducey orders historic tax cut to take effect in 2023

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey has ordered lawmakers to implement a massive
income tax cut an entire year ahead of schedule, delivering Arizonans
the lowest flat tax rate in the country. Gov. Ducey: "It's time to
deliver lasting tax relief to Arizona families and small businesses so
they can keep more of their hard-earned money. This tax relief keeps
Arizona competitive and preserves our reputation as a jobs magnet and
generator of opportunity."
