In a continued coordinated attack on immigrant rights in America, MAGA Republicans have successfully undermined DACA, leaving thousands of Dreamers hanging in the balance. The Fifth Circuit Court’s decision that DACA is unlawful is the result of efforts by MAGA Republican officials to strip people of their protections.
Enough is enough, John. It’s time for Congress to step up and permanently protect Dreamers and create a pathway to citizenship for these thousands of residents who are truly American in every sense of the word. But to do it, we need your help.
The Dreamers' story is a true testament to the American dream. Like the roots for so many Americans, Dreamers came to America with little choice, parents and family members seeking a safe haven and a chance for prosperity.
Dreamers are our friends, neighbors, and colleagues, contributing to the diversity that makes us truly great. But MAGA Republicans would rather sow fear and distrust and force the Dreamers to return to countries they’ve never even known as home.
It doesn’t just stop there. Whether it’s in the form of voter suppression and restrictive voting laws or blocking a pathway to citizenship for thousands of residents that have lived and dedicated their lives to America, MAGA Republicans are fighting to deny the American dream from so many others.
