I really hate this part.
It’s my job to decide where funding goes here at the NDRC, but with one month left until Election Day, I’m worried all of our teams won’t have what they need to do their democracy-saving work.
John, if we don’t reach our goal, I may not be able to fund our projects at the level staff requested – and that REALLY worries me. 😓
Because what am I supposed to do? Cut our efforts to support hundreds of pro-democracy candidates? Our work to protect and expand voting rights? Our project to stop GOP activists from corrupting election administration and infrastructure? There’s so much to do in the next month, and it's all so critical!
