John,

Happy Holidays! I hope you’ve gotten a breather from the insanity, the
vitriol, and the impeachment. As we head into the new year, we’re focusing
on uniting the country and fixing our broken political system by passing
powerful anti-corruption laws in states from coast to coast.

[ [link removed] ]Here’s a sneak preview of what’s in store for 2020, and below is a look
back at what we achieved in 2019:

To win these campaigns, we need to put the power of the entire
anti-corruption movement behind them in 2020 – and you can help. [ [link removed] ]Join
the Action Brigade and we’ll alert you when the most urgent campaigns need
help and the most impactful ways you can get involved - whether it’s
texting voters, writing a letter to the editor, or calling politicians in
your state.

If you aren’t able to give your time, you can still support these
campaigns by [ [link removed] ]joining the Common Wealth with a monthly donation of any
amount. 100% of your gift will go directly to grassroots campaigns like
these.

Our big plans for 2020 are only possible because of everything RepresentUs
members like you achieved in 2019. Here’s a quick recap:

In February, you shared Unbreaking America and helped reach millions of
people, bringing more than 10,000 new donors and volunteers to the
anti-corruption movement.

Then, we gathered for Unrig Summit in Nashville to hear inspiring stories
from 2018’s winning campaigns, learn from anti-corruption experts, and
enjoy world-class entertainment.

During the summer, we mobilized with pressure campaigns across the
country:

* We hand-delivered 8,000+ signatures to Senator Ted Cruz's office in
support of the revolving door ban.
* We wrote letters to the editor, testified at hearings, and made
hundreds of phone calls to put Ranked Choice Voting on the November
ballot in New York City.
* Represent New Jersey’s years-long bipartisan efforts finally paid off
when Governor Murphy signed the End Dark Money bill. Now, they’re
fighting back against a Koch-funded dark money group’s effort to stop
the law from going into effect.

As we moved into fall, we didn’t slow down. RepresentUs’s Renaldo Pearson
walked 700+ miles from Atlanta to D.C. to urge Congress to end corruption,
and inspired thousands of Americans in the process.

We ended 2019 with a BANG! New York City passed Ranked Choice Voting by a
landslide! RepresentUs members called voters, sent 650,000+ texts, and
canvassed for weeks to get out the vote.

But that’s not all. [ [link removed] ]The anti-corruption movement scored 25
anti-corruption wins in 2019, from vote at home in Hawaii and Utah to
anti-gerrymandering efforts in Virginia and North Carolina, and automatic
voter registration in Maine and New Mexico.

And finally, Michael Douglas put his voice behind our work with Unbreaking
America: Divided We Fall. [ [link removed] ]If you haven’t seen it yet, take a moment to
watch it:

Thank you for an inspiring year. Here’s to an even bigger 2020!
