Friend, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Election Day is just one month away.

Let me be blunt: we CANNOT trust Texas Republicans to be in power for another 4 years. There's no telling what horrible, dystopian BS they have up their sleeves, and it's scary to know the SCOTUS has their back. We are so close to one of the most important elections of our lifetime, and there’s never been more at stake in Texas.


All of the freedoms that we hold most dear are on the ballot. The future of our state is on the ballot. The lives and livelihoods of millions of Texans are on the ballot. That’s why Friend, we can’t sit this one out. Will you chip in $7 right now to power Texas Democrats’ fight to the finish line?

When SCOTUS decided they would leave a person’s right to abortion care up to the states, they left the rights of millions of Texans in the hands of some of the most misogynistic, patriarchal, and corrupt lawmakers in America. Texas Republicans said this is about life, but that couldn’t be anything further from the truth.

If Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick, Ken Paxton, or any of the GOP clowns in the Texas Legislature cared about life, they wouldn’t let Texans freeze to death in their homes just to line their own pockets. They wouldn’t ship immigrant families across the country for a political stunt. They wouldn’t let fourth graders be gunned down in their classroom in the name of 2nd Amendment rights. This is about control, and we all know it.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Our statewide and local lawmakers have the power to protect us and our right to choose. And if we elect progressive leaders like Beto O’Rourke, Mike Collier, and Rochelle Garza, we can ensure our state is a safe place for everyone to call home.

Friend, I’m a Texan born and raised. I love this state, and I love the people who live here. That’s why it breaks my heart to see the direction Texas is going.
