Divin, Nadine and their family had fled war in Democratic Republic of Congo 15 years ago. Much of their life was spent in a refugee camp far from home.

“It’s important to remember these people have gone through unimaginable hardship, war and persecution,” says Divin. “We don’t choose to be refugees – it’s not a choice.”
