You may not know this, but Colorado’s senior senator, Michael Bennet, is one of my best friends. Before Coloradans elected me to serve in the Senate, he helped me during my successful run for Mayor in 2003 and then became my chief of staff.

Throughout the years that I’ve known him, I’ve seen how much Michael loves Colorado. I’ve watched him fight to protect the public lands we all love so much. I’ve seen firsthand how his experience in education helps him better serve our kids.

Now that I’ve had the privilege of serving alongside him in the Senate for the last two years, I’m more committed than ever to re-electing Michael so he can keep delivering for Colorado families.

But Michael is up against an opponent that Mitch McConnell called his “perfect candidate” and said he’d be “all-in” to support. And just recently, CNN listed Michael’s Senate seat in its list of most flippable seats this November, and the GOP leaked a poll showing they are within one point of winning this race.

Michael helped me win an incredibly competitive race to flip Colorado’s other Senate seat from red to blue in 2020. Now, it’s my turn to help him protect his seat and keep Colorado blue.
