Over the last year, we've been hard at work defending your rights (and the rights of those you care about) to a fair, transparent marketplace. But we need your help to continue. Without your support, we’re no match for the corporations and lobbyists pushing for policies that make it easier for a lender to trap your brother or sister in a cycle of debt; for a sham for-profit school to enroll your son or daughter; or for a social media platform to steal and misuse your partner's private data.
We’ve had some really amazing “wins” in 2019, like helping to get legislation passed in the House (now in the Senate!) to protect your ability to take an abusive corporation to court. And pressuring the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to keep the agency’s massive consumer complaint database open to the public so that you can report a bank, lender or other corporation that does you wrong (and see what others have said about them).
