Time is running out to contribute to the Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT) and help us reach our year-end goal before midnight on the 31st!
Generous supporters like you have helped CDT put democracy and individual rights at the center of the digital revolution. You make everything we do possible. Heading into 2020, CDT will:
- Champion policies, laws, and technical designs that empower people to use technology for good, while protecting against invasive, discriminatory, and exploitative uses.
- Free people from unwarranted surveillance, promoting strict, independent oversight and checks against bias.
- Insist online platforms be transparent, accountable, and respect human rights, limiting the collection and use of personal information while giving the user greater control.
- Curtail government censorship and enable all people to access and share information of their choosing without harassment or undue interference.
- Seek to enshrine net neutrality principles into law.
