$21 Million - Loans to Rolex jewelers
$670 Million - Grants for Colleges of Beauty and Cosmetology
$670 Million - Two sculptures for a facility that serves blind veterans
$5.7 Million - Dystopian climate change voicemails from the future
These are just a few examples from an op-ed in The Washington Times. To put this in perspective, the total waste included on this list ($50 billion) could pay the average income taxes of 5,000,000 Americans.
That’s the population of Colorado or Delaware — five times over!
The feds will never stop wasting taxpayer money. The incentives are too tempting, and the accountability is almost nil.

Millions have joined the movement to call an Article V Convention of States. A Convention of States can propose constitutional amendments that force the feds to be fiscally responsible.
These amendments can include a balanced budget amendment along with tax caps and spending limits.
If Congress has to balance the budget but can't raise taxes, they'll take a long, hard look at the expenditures on this list.
