When Republicans unveiled our Commitment to America plan, we promised to hold the government accountable for its egregious failures over the past two years. No other government agency requires accountability as much as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has done nothing but impede DHS agents from doing their jobs during the southern border crisis, which is getting worse by the day.

Not only has he left the border open and unguarded, but he is also quietly transporting unaccompanied minors across the country, including right here in Minnesota. In the House Judiciary Committee, I had the opportunity to question Secretary Mayorkas about his lack of transparency. Unsurprisingly, he consistently avoided responding to and explaining his agency's glaring faults and disregard for border security. His incompetence has willingly put Minnesotans in danger and undermined our nation's sovereignty. It’s why I joined my colleagues last May in calling for his immediate resignation (H.R. 1091). John, the only way to restore accountability in our government is for us to win a landslide victory on November 8 and reclaim a conservative majority in Congress. Can I count on your $25 or $50 contribution to accomplish this? Don't put it off any longer; act now to make a difference. |
