John, we need to be clear-eyed as we head into the final days
of this election fight.

Polls that once showed Democratic candidates leading by double digits have
collapsed, opening up the possibility that MAGA extremists will sweep
their races across the country.

The consequences if they succeed could not be more dire. Big Lie-believing
Trump loyalists will be in control of elections in the key swing states
that decided the 2020 election and will decide it in 2024 as well—and they
will use their power to purge voter rolls, throw out votes, or even refuse
to certify results if the Democratic candidate wins.

And if Republicans control both houses of Congress, they will have the
votes they need to finish what they started on January 6, 2021 by
installing Donald Trump back into office and ending our democracy as we
