With one month until Election Day, dark-money ads are propping up Republicans in Senate races across the country.

Polls are tightening in key battleground states like Wisconsin, Nevada, Georgia and Pennsylvania, where dark-money super PACs are helping flood the airwaves with sleazy attack ads against Democratic candidates.

Increased transparency is the only way we can rid our politics of this cynical rot. Yet if Mitch McConnell and the GOP recapture the Senate majority, it'll be impossible to take meaningful action against dark money. If the Senate flips red, we won’t have any shot of passing my DISCLOSE Act, which Republicans recently torpedoed in a party-line vote. 

Our ability to protect the future of the Supreme Court, slow climate change, and defend abortion rights and voting rights also depends on Democrats keeping the Senate.

Dark-money donors don’t want progress on these issues, and they definitely don’t want my DISCLOSE Act to become law. I don't take a dime from corporate PACs, friend. I rely on grassroots donations from people like you, so I'm personally asking: Will you make a gift of $5 or more to my campaign now to help protect our Senate majority and get dark money out of our democracy?
