Intel broke ground on its New Albany semiconductor factory, which was made possible by the CHIPS Act. Intel’s new plant will create 10,000 Ohio jobs and support tens of thousands more in the surrounding area, shorten supply chains, and reduce our reliance on China.

“The next generation of vehicles will be made in Toledo.” General Motors is transforming its Toledo plant into its first in the country for electric vehicle production -- a huge investment in Ohio workers and American manufacturing.

Washington Republicans made it clear: If they take back the Senate this year, they want to put Social Security on a path to ending. Ohioans shouldn’t have to worry every election about the future of their hard-earned retirements. Sherrod introduced a resolution recommitting to protecting and expanding Social Security in the face of the GOP threats so Ohioans can continue to count on this bedrock program.
