CAMPAIGN UPDATES
ICYMI: Governor Walz Announces That Frontline Worker Payments Go Out This Week
This week, Governor Tim Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan announced that over 1 million Minnesota frontline workers will receive $487.45 each to reward their bravery on the frontlines of the COVID 19 pandemic.
Scott Jensen dismissed the bipartisan frontline worker payments. Jensen has a long history of opposing common sense, bipartisan policies that help working and middle-class families. He proposed untying inflation from minimum wage and opposed the 2022 budget deal that would have sent checks directly to working Minnesotans and invested in early childcare programs.
POLITICAL UPDATES
We’ve been keeping busy in these last weeks leading up to the election! Both the Governor and Lt. Governor have been launching door knocks at every opportunity as well as participating in community events. Last weekend, Lt. Governor Flanagan joined Rally for Our Rights in Hastings while Gov. Walz spoke at the AFSCME Council 5 Convention. Then they both joined dozens of veterans for a campaign event in Richfield.
As we near the final weeks of the campaign, we’ll be ramping up our direct voter contact events and supporting our amazing DFL candidates across the state!

Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan have overcome unprecedented challenges to provide historic investments in education, create new, good-paying jobs, and increase access to health care. And with your help, they can defeat their extremist Republican opponents and continue to move our state forward, as one Minnesota.
