There are seven principles of Kwanzaa and today is the first and is all about Umoja (Unity): To strive for and to maintain unity in the family, community, nation, and race.

We are so grateful for your role in helping us to elevate Black women’s voices, votes, and leadership as we work towards a unified nation that will bring opportunity and prosperity for all Americans.
