Jack, after nearly two years of constant DOOM!!! wishcasting, pundits and talking heads are finally starting to admit that Democrats might just win next month's election. Just check out this headline from the New York Times:


You're damn right it's time to take Dems' chances seriously. Just look at the facts:

• In the five special congressional elections since the Supreme Court's right-wing supermajority overturned Roe v. Wade, Democrats have outperformed President Biden's 2020 results by big margins.
• In two of those special elections, Democrats won difficult seats, including dark-red Alaska.
• This has been fueled in no small part by a surge in women—especially younger women—registering to vote.
• To top it all off, House Republicans are suffering from the same problem that may cost Senate Republicans their shot at the majority: an overabundance of seriously flawed candidates who are repelling voters.

Sometimes the best defense is a good offense, and Daily Kos plays OFFENSE. We've identified 12 Republican-held congressional seats that could flip from red to blue this fall.
