Africa & Europe
Praise God for the launch of a new survivor network in Ghana. This group of trafficking survivors lives in a region known for children being trafficked into the fishing industry. They have banded together with the support of IJM to speak out publicly about the issue, warning parents about the risks of child trafficking and calling on authorities to take action. Pray for this brave group of survivor leaders who are inspiring their community to make the future safer for all children.
Latin America
Praise God for a recent cooperation agreement signed with the Municipality of La Paz in Bolivia, which is the entity that oversees defense and protection services for children.
This interinstitutional agreement will allow IJM to support their staff with onboarding and continual training to best prosecute sexual violence cases, as well as have our trained volunteers conduct individual psychological follow-up in cases in which the municipality requests support. Pray for all the families who will benefit from the extra care and praise God that they don’t have to walk alone in their journey to justice.
South Asia
Please pray for IJM staff assisting on a new, violent case of human trafficking. We recently learned of a man who was badly beaten and maimed when he confronted his employer about poor working conditions and a lack of pay. He is now back in his home community and struggling to provide for his family. Pray that IJM teams can connect with him quickly and provide the legal, medical, and emotional support he needs to endure this shocking season. Pray IJM and our partners can track down the abusive employer and bring him to justice.
Asia Pacific
Praise God that 20 children were rescued in the month of September from online sexual exploitation by IJM Manila in partnership with local law enforcement. Please pray for these children as they enter into a season of healing and restoration, but also change and difficulty. Pray that they will have the opportunity to process their trauma, find community, and thrive in their life of freedom.

Praise the Lord for successful fundraising campaigns. Thank God that a number of IJM’s fundraising campaigns in September met their goals. We pray that people’s hearts are touched with the work that IJM does around the world as they know more about it through all our campaigns and communications.
