Dear Reader,

Over the last eight weeks, GGWash staff have spent hundreds of hours pulling together voter resources and endorsements for Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner (ANC) seats in DC.

We do this because it's really hard for DC voters to learn about ANC candidates, and they deserve better access to information. And we do this work because ANCs have a big impact on steering decision-makers’ attention toward important policy issues. Having hundreds of commissioners who care about making sure DC has more housing and more affordable housing, and is a place where it's safe and easy to get around without a car, translates into real change.

We're only able to do this work with the support of individual donors like you.

That's why we're asking 50 people to join the GGWash Neighborhood—our recurring donor program—by October 31. If you find value in our interactive ANC candidate tool and the endorsements themselves, please join us to make sure this work can continue. Most donors contribute $10 per month, but membership in the GGWash Neighborhood starts at just $5 per month -- and it adds up to big impact.
