Hi John,
[link removed]
Save the date!

Saturday 12
November will see mass mobilisations across the country and thousands of people taking to the streets to demand climate justice in solidarity with the Global Day of Action called by Egyptian groups at COP27 ([link removed]) . From the national and global cost of living crisis to devastating climate impacts in the global south, the need to end fossil fuel extraction has never been more urgent. On 12 November we will rise up together and fight for climate reparations and a just and sustainable future.

LONDON

Meeting 12 noon outside the Shell HQ, Belvedere Road SE1. Global Justice Now supporters, activists and staff will be gathering from 11am in Jubilee Gardens in Central London, with other members of the Climate Reparations Bloc. The closest tube and rail station is Waterloo. We’ll update you with any more specific details, and they'll also be added to the event page ([link removed]) on our website.

EDINBURGH

The Edinburgh march will be meeting at 12pm at St Andrew Square. Global Justice Now Scotland is currently planning a creative contribution to the day's events! See you on the streets!

Activism Team
PS. In this week's webinar Is there a new ‘red-green’ tide in Latin America? ([link removed]) we had an excellent discussion on the current wave of progressive politics sweeping Latin America, and its impacts on climate, women's rights and justice. If you're looking for a welcome dose of hope in these dark times, you can watch the recording on our Youtube channel.
