Before I face Ron Johnson at tonight's debate, I would like to take a moment to say why I am asking you to make an online contribution to our campaign.

Here is the truth:

We have a huge amount of work ahead of us, and the weeks ahead will not be easy. There are right-wing super PACS spending millions of dollars in Wisconsin to try to stop our campaign and keep me out of the Senate. 

They've seen all the polls showing this race in a dead heat. And they know that if Ron Johnson wins re-election in Wisconsin, Republicans are virtually guaranteed to regain the Senate majority. 

So I need your help. Especially before tonight's debate. Because lots of grassroots donations is the only way we will have the resources required to flip this seat.

That's why I am asking:

Can I count on you to split a $15 contribution between my campaign and American Bridge PAC before tonight's debate? If you can do it today, you will help ensure we have the resources to win while sending an unmistakable message about the strength of our campaign before tonight's debate.

Most campaigns only look at how much money they're raising. But there is another number that is very important, and that is the number of contributions that are funding this campaign. 

When I’m on stage debating Ron Johnson tonight, I’ll be thinking about all of the people whose generosity and commitment to democracy have gotten us this far.

Thanks for adding your donation  before tonight's debate. As long as we are in this together, we are going to send Ron Johnson packing in November.
