We need to unleash American energy. The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) announced the biggest oil cut since the start of the pandemic on Wednesday. Now is the time to increase American energy production and implement an 'all of the above' approach to energy. We should not sit back. I filled up my Chevy yesterday and paid $3.89 a gallon. 

I recently joined Bloomberg to discuss OPEC's decision. 

As we head into winter months, energy bills are expected to increase. We should be doing everything we can to lower costs to ensure high home heating costs are not coupled with high gas prices. 

My Legislation to Keep Our Government Accountable Passed the House

Last week, my legislation to hold the Executive Branch accountable for our sanctions enforcement passed the House. This will ensure the American people are aware of any financial sanctions that are being lifted on adversaries. We need a government that's accountable, especially when it comes to dealing with rogue nations like Iran, Russia, and North Korea. Sanctions are a critical tool in our toolkit and we need to keep them viable.
