The woke Left has put our children on the chopping block. Literally.
Right here in Tennessee, Vanderbilt University has been in the news lately—and not in a good way. A new video shows Vanderbilt doctors talking about sex-change surgery on children as a “big money maker.” The Left will tell you that these surgeries are necessary for transgender individuals to live as their “true selves,” but I will tell you what’s really going on: Hospitals are butchering our children, and it’s repugnant.
This dangerous gender ideology is spreading across the country. Children are being taught that gender is just a social construct and can be changed like a song on the radio. Hospitals are bending a knee to this horrifying agenda, and doctors are pushing life-changing surgery to help children as young as three on their “gender journeys.” Whatever happened to the Hippocratic Oath to do no harm?
These lunatics try to disguise what they’re doing by using new-fangled language like “gender reassignment surgery,” I am going to call a spade a spade and tell you this is a permanent, irreversible procedure that will screw our kids for the rest of their lives.
Performing genital mutilation on children is wrong. Hard stop. That’s why I tried to introduce an amendment to the temporary government funding bill that would prevent federal funds from paying for gender transition surgeries on children, but of course, it was blocked by House Democrats.
I will not remain silent on this issue. Protecting our future generations from extremist progressives is something we should all get behind.
