Hi John,

2019 was an amazing year for people power. Thanks for being a part of it.

Whether you took action online, donated or spread the word in your local community - we've worked together to do some incredible things. And in 2020 we'll do even more.

Here’s a video message to you from our Executive Director, John Sauven, on behalf of all of us at Greenpeace.

From the launch of the Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) in London to shutting down BP’s HQ, there are far too many stand out moments to list here, so we’ve picked out just a few of the most amazing things you helped us achieve this year:

  • After calling out Sainsbury’s as the UK’s worst supermarket for plastic packaging, they’ve committed to reducing plastic by 50% by 2025.
  • We formed a human chain across The Mall to tell incoming Prime Minister Boris Johnson to put the climate emergency at the centre of his administration.
  • We commenced an epic 11-month ship tour from the Arctic to the Antarctic to collect evidence of the harm being done to our oceans and keep the pressure on governments to get a strong Global Ocean Treaty.

It's truly incredible to look back at what you have made possible over the last year. This is a tiny selection of the great progress we are making together for the future of our planet. Your support is making the fightback against the climate emergency possible! Check out the year in pictures.

You make all that we do possible, and we wanted to let you know the extraordinary effect your support is having.

Thanks for your continued support.
